promoting
health through development
Welcome to The Elysia Consortium Group for social
and therapeutic care, bringing anthroposophic health and social
renewal for the West Midlands and the UK.
We
provide a range of services for helping deal with symptoms such
as stress, depression, anxiety, back pain and the effects of unresolved
medical conditions.

The
Consortium Health Centre promotes an approach to health
and wellbeing which:
- Sees
the whole person as body, soul and spirit
- Seeks
to address illness, crisis and suffering as opportunities
for positive change and personal growth
- Seeks
to cultivate a sense of life that has purpose, meaning
and value, which contributes directly to emotional, mental
and physical wellbeing
- Our
therapeutic work is based on a collaborative, multi-disciplinary
approach
- We
operate within safely held professional boundaries and
respect client confidentiality.

The
initiative we carry finds its inspiration and roots from the anthroposophic
health care model as practiced at Park Attwood Therapeutic Clinic
(1979 – 2009). The principle is to stimulate the natural healing
forces within the human being. This form of medicine and therapy
is developed from the pioneering work of Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925)
in collaboration with a doctor of medicine, Dr Ita Wegman (1876
– 1943).
Membership
of The Elysia Consortium partnership represents a commitment to
integrity and to the client that is profoundly reassuring. The
therapies carried out by the Elysia Consortium partners are all
professionally regulated and have been proved effective over many
years.
The
insights of Rudolf Steiner concern an understanding of the human
being that encompasses body, soul and spirit. This picture of
the human being pays particular attention to our capacity to find
meaning in life.
